BAU: Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision along Jalan Pan Borneo, Tondong, today.
The accident, which occurred at around 2:20 pm, involved six occupants – four in the Hilux and two in the lorry.
All victims, whose identities were not immediately disclosed, were helped out of their vehicles by concerned passers-by before the firefighters arrived.
An ambulance rushed the three injured victims to the hospital while three others escaped unharmed.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said two of the injured were from the Hilux while the other was a passenger of the lorry.
The extent of their injuries were not known.
No rescue operation was necessary as firefighters only focused on clearing accident debris from the scene.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the firefighters returned to the station.
