KUCHING: Three suspects were nabbed for attempting to break into a car last Sunday afternoon.
During a patrol, a police team saw the suspects behaving suspiciously and trying to prise open a car door at the BDC area at about 1 pm.
When the police team stopped to check the three suspects they immediately entered a car and speed off from the scene.
They were later nabbed at Wan Alwi Building after a chase by several MPVs.
The three aged between 25 and 29 are from Kpg Tabuan Dayak. They were found with a bag of tools which are believed to be used in car break-ins.
Police also seized the car the suspects were using.
The trio are being detained for further questioning. Kuching police chief, ACP Abang Ahmad Abang Julai confirmed the case.
