KUCHING: Three projects in Kota Sentosa constituency are expected to be completed by July of this year, says Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap Yau Sin.
He said this during the handover of the letters of award the scope of works together with detailed technical drawings and scope drawings and project sites to the successful contractors, namely for three projects amounting to RM700,000.
“The three projects are; repair drainage, footpath and parking in front of Darul Barakah Mosque, Taman Satria Jaya costing RM300,000 (Eastline Synergy Resources); repair drainage and footpath in back lane at BDC Lorong B1 (beside SK Satria Jaya), Taman Satria Jaya BDC costing RM250,000 (Syarikat Mercury Bina); and repair drainage and footpath at back lane of BDC Lorong B2 and BDC Lorong B3A, Taman Satria Jaya costing RM150,000 (Zimco Enterprise).
“The three projects are implemented to resolve and rectify the predicament faced by the local residents and community,” he said.
Yap will also be proactive in monitoring and co-ordinating with Kuching South City Council (MBKS) to ensure that there will be no delay in the completion of this RTP project for the benefit of the residents and community.
“Further projects for the my constituency will continue to be implemented through the various government agencies by myself to resolve various problems, improve infrastructure and uplift the living standards of the local communities.”
