KUCHING: Thunderstorms are expected in some parts of Kuching Division beginning this week.
According to the Malaysia Meteorological Department’s website, the weather will be clear and dry today. However, there will be thunderstorms in the evening starting from Thursday until Sunday. On these days, the weather in the morning and night is expected to be dry. There will be rain only in certain areas.
The lowest temperature is expected to be 24 degrees Celsius while the highest temperature is 33 degrees Celsius.
In the Western part of Sarawak, rain and thunderstorms are expected until Thursday and on Sunday. The weather will only be clear and dry on Friday and Saturday.
In Northern Sarawak, there will be also be thunderstorms until Thursday. From Friday until Sunday, the weather is expected to be dry.
Fishermen are advised not to go out to sea during the thunderstorms.
