Timuran Kembangan Sdn Bhd provides collection services for used items such as oil and others.
Ting described this award as proof of the company’s commitment to driving positive environmental change to become better and more dynamic.
For Ting, this award is very important because it contributes to more sustainable development.
Earlier, he also expressed his gratitude to all parties for the support given to the company.
“The support provided is highly valuable and always appreciated. May our efforts to establish Timuran Kembangan Sdn Bhd’s credibility as a sustainable pioneer continue to succeed,” he said.
The role of the public and private sectors in driving sustainability was a main focus at the Asia ESG Positive Impact Awards (PIA) 2025.
Thirty-nine winners from Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia brought home a total of 52 awards in recognition of their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts.
These awards mark the first regional recognition for the Asia ESG Positive Impact Consortium (A-EPIC), launched in 2024 by Star Media Group (SMG) from Malaysia, KG Media from Indonesia, and Inquirer Group of Companies from the Philippines.
Winners were awarded across 12 different categories, including biodiversity conservation, waste management, renewable energy, energy efficiency, supply chain management, partnerships and innovative transformation, judged by an international panel.
Achievements and social contributions were also recognised through categories such as diversity, equity and inclusion; local community relations; human rights and labour standards; talent management and good health and wellbeing.
All of them had previously won local awards from the consortium – ESG PIA by SMG, Sustainability Awards by KG Media, and ESG Edge Impact Awards by the Inquirer Group of Companies.
These companies range from small and medium enterprises to mid-sized and large corporations, honoured for their outstanding dedication to sustainability, championing climate resilience and ethical business practices.
