SARIKEI: Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, handed over a special allocation to Tong Hua Primary and Secondary Schools in Bintangor to support various educational needs and activities.

The contribution made by the Sarikei Member of Parliament reinforced his commitment towards improving the standard of education in the area.

It was handed over during a courtesy visit by the school’s board of management, led by its chairman, Su Song Chuong, on Thursday.

The visit served as a platform to strengthen cooperation between the school and local leadership.

Huang said the allocation is part of his ongoing efforts to assist schools in his constituency.

He also announced an annual allocation under the Minor Rural Projects (MRP) initiative to support the schools’ operational expenses.

As part of the visit, the Repok Assemblyman also presented school uniforms, shoes and bags to all students of Tong Hua Primary and Secondary Schools.

The move aims to ease the financial burden of families and motivate students to remain focused in their studies.

The school’s board of management expressed their appreciation for Huang’s continued support.

They hoped that the strong partnership would further drive educational development in Bintangor for the benefit of future generations.
