KOTA SAMARAHAN: The Talent Recruitment and Career Exhibition (TRACE) 2025 programme is a strategic platform for human capital development which has successfully brought together the active participation of students, graduates and job seekers from all over Sarawak.

Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD), Datuk Francis Harden Hollis described TRACE 2025 as an important medium in empowering students, and in addition providing a direct job matching platform between job seekers and employers.

“This programme not only provides job opportunities, but also opens up an opportunity for participants to build collaborative networks with industry players,” he said.

Harden stated this during the official launch ceremony of the programme at Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Hall (DeTAR PUTRA), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) here recently.

He also stressed the development of knowledgeable and highly skilled human capital as the foundation of economic progress based on innovation and technology, including renewable energy, biotechnology and the digital economy.

He called on graduates to continue to be agents of change and contribute back to society and the state.

“The knowledge, skills and experience you gain are not only for yourself, but also for the community, village and country,” he said.

TRACE 2025, which took place for two days has brought together various career opportunities across strategic sectors.

The programme saw the participation of over 50 companies and organisations from various fields including technology, finance, modern agriculture and entrepreneurship.
