Tree falls, house barely damaged

MIRI: A quiet early morning was disrupted when storm caused a tree fallen onto a family’s home in Piasau Camp, Jalan Pantai here today.
Thankfully, all members of the household were safe and unharmed.
The Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) sprang into action after receiving an emergency call at 3.03 am.
Though the tree caused some damage to a part of the house’s roof, the good news is that it was relatively minor.
The close-knit community watched in relief as the dedicated firefighters from Lutong station worked together to clear the fallen tree and ensure the safety of their neighbours.
