KUCHING: Three persons aged between 20 and 30 were arrested by members of the public in a pub yesterday morning for committing criminal breach of trust (CBT) yesterday morning.
According to Head of Sarawak Commercial Crime Department, Supt Mustafa Kamal, the police were informed that three persons were under citizen arrest in a pub at Petanak near here at about 1.20 am yesterday.
Mustafa said when police went to the pub they found three people with bruises on their faces and bodies. The police were told that the trio had committed criminal breach of trust amounting to RM10,000 belonging to the company by stealing beer and mineral water bottles.
He added that the three men were released on police bail after their statements were recorded.
They were later taken to Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
