KUCHING: Tropics City will host its inaugural mural pillars competition, an innovative event that merges creative artistry with industrial development by transforming urban spaces into storytelling canvases and fostering collaboration between muralists and industry players.

A grand prize of RM10,000 awaits the winning artist, offering not only financial reward but also an opportunity for greater recognition in the local and regional art scene.

The competition fosters artistic engagement with industry leaders, creating a platform where creativity meets commerce to inspire partnerships that enhance cultural expression and promote industrial progress.

Tropics City, Sarawak’s first-ever service and experience-oriented Enrichment Hub, is dedicated to bringing communities together through a diverse range of lifestyle offerings.

Tropics City is more than just a commercial space as it is a dynamic hub for connection, learning, and exploration. Designed around five key pillars, it offers a diverse range of experiences to enrich the community.

The food and beverage sector presents a curated selection of dining options, catering to a variety of tastes. Enrichment education provides a space for lifelong learning, skill-building, and personal development, while the health and fitness pillar promotes active and healthy living through a dedicated wellness hub. Beauty and wellness serve as a destination for self-care, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Meanwhile, culture and arts is a platform for creativity, celebrating local talent, and supporting artistic expression.
