KUALA LUMPUR: The launch of the new digital streaming application, TVS Inspire, marks another important milestone in strengthening the digital broadcasting transformation agenda in the state.
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg officiated the launch of the application in conjunction with the Lan Berambeh Anak Sarawak (LBAS) 2025 programme.
According to him, the new app signifies TVS’s capability to embrace digital transformation and compete in today’s fast-evolving media landscape.
“The success of TVS in developing its own application proves the station’s ability to compete in the digital era.
“Ketek ajak (With just a click), everything goes straight to the app — news content, live broadcasts, and entertainment,” he said during the launch at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) here today (Oct 25).
TVS now possesses its own distinct identity through the newly developed application, enabling users to easily access a wide variety of news and entertainment content right at their fingertips.
The application is also Malaysia’s first fully locally developed over-the-top (OTT) platform.
Among its highlights are real-time news updates, comprehensive sports coverage, live broadcasts of major events, and on-demand content viewing.
Carrying the slogan “World on Your Screen: Anytime, Anywhere!”, TVS Inspire offers users free access to a broad range of TVS news, entertainment, and exclusive programmes.
