

KUCHING: Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg yesterday received two courtesy calls by a delegation each from China Hydrogen Group and Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (BPMB) in his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here.
The first courtesy call was by a delegation form China Hydrogen Group led by Managing Director and Chairman of China Railway Engineering Equipment (Australia) Pty Ltd (CREGA), Lu Min Yong who is also team leader of a hydrogen bus project.
The coutresy call was in response to a visit by a delegation led by Chief Minister to China Railway and Engineering Corporation in China last December.
Also present during the coutresy call was SEDC chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz Hussain.
Abang Johari later received a courtesy call by a delegation from Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (BPMB) led by its president and Group Chief Executive Officer, Shahruddin Zainuddin.
This was the first courtesy call made by Shahruddin since his appointment as BPMB Group Chief Executive Officer last year.
Also present were Assistant Minister of Corporate Affairs, Abdullah Saidol and BPMB Senior Vice President, Puan Nashua Fauzun.
