BINTULU: Two people died while one was injured when their vehicle crashed into a tree about 10.20am yesterday.
Eight firemen in a fire engine and their Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) were mobilised to the scene near SMK Vokasional Bintulu at Jalan Tanjung Kidurong.
Upon arrival, they found that of the three persons the two who died were adults while the survivor was a six-year-old boy, Syahfiqee.
The deceased were identified as a 26-year-old woman, Meliana Tubun and a man, Tropimus Tamason Tubun.
It was said that the boy managed to crawl out of the car although he was injured.
It took quite an effort for the firemen to get Meliana and Tropimus out their car as it was badly mangled.
The bodies have been handed over to the police and the boy was taken to the hospital.
