Firefighters and medical personnel transport the injured victim on a stretcher.

KOTA SAMARAHAN: Two people were injured in a road accident involving a Proton Saga and a trailer lorry near Taman Berlian, here this morning (Jan 3).

The victims, a 22-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, were travelling in the Proton Saga.

The lorry driver was unhurt.

The incident was reported to Kota Samarahan Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) at 7.10 am.

Firefighters arrived at the scene at 7.37 am to provide assistance.

Firefighters helped the female victim using a stretcher, while the male victim had already been removed from the vehicle before their arrival.

Both victims received immediate care from medical personnel at the scene before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
