KUCHING: Two individuals were successfully rescued after being trapped at the beach due to high tide at a golf club near Jalan Kampung Santubong, this afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department said the call regarding the incident was received at 1:53 pm, and the fire crew arrived at the scene at 2:17 pm.
The operation was under control by 2:30 pm and concluded at 2:53 pm.
The team from BBP Petra Jaya conducted an assessment and gathered information about the incident after the victims were rescued by the golf club staff.
The victims were reported safe and unharmed.
