KUCHING: A sedan vehicle crashed onto a tree near the Normah Medical Specialist Centre, today.
State Fire and Rescue Operation Centre (Bomba) received the report on the Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman incident at 4.04pm.
Subsequently a team of firemen from Petra Jaya station was immediately despatched to the incident location.
“On the crash the operation commander reported that the vehicle lost control on the road and then crashed onto a tree.
“There were two victims trapped inside the vehicle; luckily they were able to be extricated using a special tool,” Bomba said in a statement.
Both victims were handed over to paramedics and were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
The firemen cleared the road of debris from the accident before heading back to the station.
