PADAWAN: Police have arrested two local men, aged 24 and 36, in separate operations conducted here early this morning (Feb 24).
Padawan district police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said the arrests were carried out by a team from the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division of the district police headquarters (IPD).
In the first arrest, police seized 0.52 grams of suspected methamphetamine and Eramin 5 pills.
In the second case, 0.32 grams of suspected methamphetamine was confiscated.
Both suspects tested positive for methamphetamine in preliminary urine screening tests.
The cases are being investigated under Section 12(2) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
