SIMUNJAN: Two men sustained injuries after the car they were travelling in skidded off the road along Jalan Gunung Ngeli here late last night.
The incident involved a Proton Wira occupied by the individuals, aged 48 and 19.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said a team from the Simunjan station was deployed to the scene following a distress call received at 11.33 pm.
“Upon arrival, firefighters found two men inside the vehicle. Fortunately, both were not trapped,” the department said in a statement.
Firefighters safely extricated the two men using a stretcher before handing them over to hospital for further treatment.
