MUKAH: SJKC Chong Boon and SK Kampung Petanak have received donations of interactive smart boards to strengthen the use of technology in the teaching and learning (PdP) process.

According to Tellian assemblyman, Royston Valentine, the contribution is part of efforts to help meet school needs based on earlier applications submitted.

“The provision of this facility also takes into account the schools’ excellent achievements as well as the need to further empower educational institutions through the use of modern technology.

“We want to assist schools from various aspects so that students and teachers can benefit from the facilities provided,” he said during the handover ceremony at SK Kampung Petanak on Friday (July 3).

Royston expressed hope that the interactive smart boards will be fully utilised by the school community to create a more interactive and effective learning environment as well as serve as a motivation for teachers to remain committed in educating the younger generation.
