KOTA SAMARAHAN: Two men with prior drug-related records were arrested at a petrol station after they were found acting suspiciously earlier today (Nov 18).
Kota Samarahan District Police Headquarters (IPD) said the arrest was done during a Mobile Patrol Vehicle (MPV) crime prevention round, when personnel approached the duo, who were with a motorcycle, after noticing their suspicious behaviour.
A check on their identification cards shows that both men had previous offences under the Dangerous Drugs Act.
Officers then issued a verbal warning instructing them to surrender any illegal items in their possession.
One of the men subsequently handed over a plastic packet containing crystal-like substances believed to be methamphetamine.
Both suspects were arrested, and the seized items were taken to the police headquarters for further action.
