MIRI: Two men managed to cart away goods in trolleys out of a supermarket in Lutong near here on Sunday morning.
CCTV installed in the supermarket managed to capture the moment the brazen thieves pushed their way past the cashier’s counter intending not to pay for the goods in their trolleys.
A representative of the supermarket management has lodged a report at a police station here.
The female cashier tried to chase the two suspects but stopped after fearing for her safety.
She then rushed back to supermarket and told her colleagues about the incident.
During the 11am incident only three cashier counters were open.
The two suspects later left the scene in a car with the goods.
The loss incurred was not immediately known and the case is being investigated. No arrest has been made.
