MIRI: Two men went through an anxiety-filled experience when the jeep they were travelling in crashed by the roadside along Jalan Miri-Bypass here yesterday morning.
Both victims were fortunate to escape with only minor injuries in the 11.00am incident.
They were said to be heading towards Pujut Corner from Airport Road when their jeep suddenly went out of control and skidded off the road before crashing into the bushes by the roadside.
“Both victims managed to get out of the jeep by themselves and called their friends for help,” sources said, adding that slippery road surface due to rain could be the cause of the accident.
