KUCHING: A fire alert turned out to be a traffic accident involving two vehicles which resulted in minor injuries.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was alerted at 3.40pm.
Firefighters from Batu Lintang fire station were dispatched to the incident at Jalan Pisang Barat, here.
The department said upon arrival, the team discovered that it was not an incident involving a fire, but a traffic collision between two sedans.
One of the drivers was uninjured while the other driver sustained minor injury in the mishap.
