KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi graced the ‘bersungkei’ (breaking-of-fast) ceremony here.
The event took place at the Surau Hall, Astana Negeri Sarawak last night (Mar 3), bringing together guests and community leaders.
Following the breaking-fast, Wan Junaidi together Fauziah and the guests performed the Maghrib, Isyak, and Tarawih prayers, led by Grand Imam of Sarawak Sahibul Fadilah Datuk Mustapha Kamal Ahmad Fauzi.
In a brief address, the Head of State extended his Ramadan greetings to those present.
“May this Ramadan continue to bring blessings and well-being to all,” he said.
