KUALA LUMPUR: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, have arrived here to attend the 268th Meeting of the Conference of Rulers at Istana Negara.
Their flight landed at Subang Airport at approximately 12.30 pm.
The meeting, set to take place on Feb 5 and 6, serves as a key platform for the Conference of Rulers to deliberate on matters related to national sovereignty, governance, and other significant national issues.
As a vital institution within the Constitutional Monarchy system, the Conference of Rulers plays a crucial role in upholding national stability, protecting religious affairs, and fostering unity among the people.
Wan Junaidi expressed his hope for a smooth and productive meeting, ensuring that discussions serve the best interests of the nation and the well-being of its people.
