KUANTAN, Pahang: Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, together with his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, arrived safely at Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport here at 1:05 pm today.
They were accompanied by Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Coordinator for Regional Development Agency projects, DBKU and Islamic Affairs), Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, and his wife, Datin Siti Shorgayah Ahmad Zaidin.
Their arrival was welcomed by Pahang State Executive Councillor (EXCO) for Investment, Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Mohamad Nizar Mohamad Najib, who represented the Pahang Chief Minister; along with Pahang State Executive Councillor (EXCO) for Islamic Affairs, Rural Development and Orang Asli Affairs, Datuk Seri Syed Ibrahim Syed Ahmad; and several leaders of the Pahang State Government.
Wan Junaidi and Fauziah are in Pahang to attend the closing of the Temasya Warisan Pahang event, which will be held tonight at the Pahang Contemporary Museum in Kuantan.
The event will be officiated by His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang.
