KUCHING: Singapore Minister for Manpower Dr Tan See Leng paid a courtesy visit to Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar at the Astana Negeri here today (Aug 5).
Dr Tan, who also oversees Science, Technology and Energy, was accompanied by his delegation.
Wan Junaidi’s wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi was also present during the visit.
Discussions touched on legal reforms, as well as efforts in strengthening Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), upskilling and reskilling programmes with a focus on reaching Sarawak’s rural communities.
Dr Tan also invited the Head of State to make an official visit to Singapore.
Earlier in the day, the Singapore delegation met with Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Kompleks Satria Pertiwi.
