TYT, wife attend Raya gathering jointly organised by two ministries

KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi attended the Aidilfitri Gathering organised jointly by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Urban Development (MUDeNR) and the Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment (MINTRED).

The event, held on Tuesday (Apr 15), showcased the spirit of togetherness and strong collaboration between MUDeNR and MINTRED in celebrating the month of Syawal, while also appreciating the dedication and commitment of their staff in driving the state’s development.

The gathering also served as a lively reunion for the personnel of both ministries, including agencies under their purview.

Among the participating agencies were the Sarawak Forestry Department (JHS), Land and Survey Department (JTS), Sarawak Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB), Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA), Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC), Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC), and InvestSarawak.

Distinguished guests at the event included Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Datuk Amar Dr. Sim Kui Hian; Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly Tan Sri Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar; Brunei Darussalam’s Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Datuk Seri Setia Awang Nazmi Awang Mohamad; as well as senior government officials and department heads from both ministries.
