KUCHING: Strengthening ties between Sarawak and Perlis, the Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sansei, hosted a dinner reception on Thursday night (Jun 19) for Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail and Raja Puan Muda Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil.
Held at Toh Yuen Restaurant, Hilton Hotel here, the evening unfolded in a warm and congenial atmosphere.
Amid the relaxed and friendly ambiance, the guests engaged in lively discussions on a range of topics, including Sarawak’s rich history — spanning the pre- and post-Brooke era and its time as a British colony.
The conversation also explored Sarawak’s development trajectory and opportunities for bilateral collaboration between Sarawak and Perlis across various sectors.
Accompanying Wan Junaidi and Fauziah were their children, Sharifah Fariah and her husband, Mohd Syukri; Sharifah Nong-Jasima and her husband, Hakeem; as well as Tasneem.
Meanwhile, Tuanku Raja Muda and Tuanku Raja Puan Muda were accompanied by their children, Sharifah Khatreena Nuraniah, Sharifah Farah Adriana, and Syed Sirajuddin Areeb Putra.
