KUCHING: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas paid a courtesy call on the Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, at Kesuma Resort here today.
The visit was held to extend an official invitation to Wan Junaidi to attend tomorrow’s (December 5) launching of the political biography, ‘Abang Johari: Sarawak’s First Premier, A Political Biography’, at the Dayak Cultural Foundation.
The biography, which chronicles the political journey of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, was written by Professor Dr Michael Leigh of the University of Sydney, University of Melbourne, and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).
During the visit, Uggah also presented a copy of the biography to Wan Junaidi.
Also present were Chairman of Tun Jugah Foundation and Trustee of the Dayak Cultural Foundation, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Leonard Linggi.
