IF you’re looking for a slim, rechargeable alternative to Apple’s AirTag, Ugreen Finder Slim might be the perfect choice. This credit card-sized tracker works with Apple’s Find My app and doesn’t require battery replacements.
Like AirTag, this device uses Bluetooth 5.0 and Apple’s vast Find My network to track lost items worldwide. However, it lacks Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, meaning you won’t get the same precise tracking as an AirTag.
At just 1.7mm thick, it fits easily in wallets and passport holders. The tracker also features an 80dB alarm for locating nearby items and can send left-behind notifications.
With an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, it is durable for everyday use. Unlike AirTag’s replaceable CR2032 battery, Ugreen Finder Slim has a built-in 115mAh battery lasting up to 12 months. It recharges via a magnetic USB cable, making it a great option for frequent travellers.
However, note that it does not support Android as it lacks compatibility with Google’s Find My Device network.
