KUCHING: The Sarawak State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki received a courtesy visit from the delegation of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak Branch at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia.
The visit on Thursday, led by the Rector of UiTM Sarawak Branch, Professor Dr Firdaus Abdullah, aimed to strengthen strategic relations between the higher education institution and the Sarawak Civil Service, as well as to explore potential collaborations that could contribute to human capital development in Sarawak, particularly.
Abu Bakar welcomed UiTM’s proactive initiative in expanding academic and professional ties with the Sarawak Government, especially in efforts to empower Sarawak towards becoming an advanced and high-income region by the year 2030.
The visit reflects the ongoing commitment of both parties in reinforcing synergy and strategic collaboration for the shared benefit of the people and the state of Sarawak.
