SAMARAHAN: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) will be the stage for an intense rugby showdown as 16 local teams battle for the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni (TNC HEPA) UNIMAS Cup 2025.
Organised in conjunction with the UNIMAS Convocation Festival, the tournament is officially sanctioned by the Sarawak Rugby Union.
This prestigious event is set to take place at the UNIMAS Synthetic Rugby Field from November 1 to 2, 2025, and is expected to attract rugby fans from across Sarawak.
“The tournament aims to strengthen the sporting spirit among rugby enthusiasts while adding excitement to the 2025 Convocation Festival.
“Let us all come together to celebrate this rugby tournament with great sportsmanship and enthusiasm for the development of rugby in Sarawak,” the statement read.
UNIMAS invites all Sarawakians and rugby fans to attend and show their full support for the competing teams.
