NEW YORK, USA: The US dollar decreased in late trading on Wednesday, reported Xinhua.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, dropped 1.36 per cent to 104.301 at 3.00 pm (2000 GMT).
In late New York trading, the euro rose to US$1.0790 from US$1.0597 in the previous session, and the British pound advanced to US$1.2897 from US$1.2787 in the previous session.
The US dollar bought 148.79 Japanese yen, lower than 149.27 yen of the previous session.
The greenback added to 0.8904 Swiss francs from 0.8888 francs, and it was down to C$1.4336 from C$1.4503.
Against the Swedish krona, the dollar decreased to 10.1990 kronor from 10.4760 kronor. – BERNAMA-XINHUA
