KUCHING: The “Rindok Raya 2025” Ramadan Bazaar at the Hikmah Exchange Event Centre (HEEC) has become a vibrant one-stop shopping destination for visitors preparing for the Hari Raya celebration.
Featuring 37 food and beverage stalls alongside 81 booths, the bazaar offers a diverse array of products, from traditional attire like Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung to Raya biscuits, cookies, songkok, perfumes and more.
Running from March 2 to 30, food stalls will operate from 1pm to 7pm, with extended hours until 10pm during the final two weeks leading up to Hari Raya.
Sarawak Tribune spoke with several passionate booth owners who shared their inspirations and experiences, adding to the festive spirit of the bazaar.

What inspired us to join the Bazaar Raya is my passion for selling. I look forward to it every year! Raya sales are always popular, and everyone goes to the Bazaar Raya to shop for their Raya outfits, such as “Baju Melayu, “Baju Kurung”, and many more. The best part for me is seeing the customers happy. They’re excited about their purchases and satisfied with what they’ve bought. The first day of Raya is especially special, everyone dresses their best, and we do too! Looking great in our Raya outfits is a must, and that’s one of the things I love most about this experience.

The bazaar was only recently promoted, so we’re hoping that more people will come in the following days. What I enjoy most about this bazaar being held here is that everything is available in one place. You can find Raya clothes, an outdoor bazaar, songkok, and more—all in one location. This year Ramadan feels even more meaningful to me because I get to be part of this selling experience and the festive Raya atmosphere. So come visit! My inspiration for this year booth remains the same,I stick to a classic concept, inspired by my love for antiques. The bazaar response has been great, even in the first week. Alhamdulillah, my booth unique atmosphere brings back memories, especially for the older generation. Bringing vintage fashion back to life makes it feel fresh again. I love meeting people, interacting and reconnecting with old friends. Life gets busy, but this event brings us together. I’ve had an amazing time at the bazaar, with so many people stopping by! Sales have been great, many items sold out quickly, which makes me really happy.
