KUCHING: The new vivo V60 has hit the Malaysian market with a starting price of RM1,999, offering a flagship-level ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera capable of 10x zoom.
Co-engineered with ZEISS, the V60 is positioned as a portrait photography device with a 50MP telephoto camera, focal lengths of 85mm and 100mm, a 50MP ZEISS OIS main camera for low-light shots, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera.
The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
It is powered by a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, which vivo says can last a full day on a single charge.
The device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, including submersion up to 1.5 metres for two hours and high-pressure sprays.
It is offered in three colours namely Berry Purple, Summer Blue and Mist Grey.

The V60 also integrates AI tools including real-time call captions and translation, automatic meeting summaries, and support for Google Gemini across apps such as Google Workspace, Spotify and WhatsApp.
It is available now in Malaysia at RM1,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and RM2,299 for the 12GB + 512GB, with an online-exclusive 8GB + 256GB version priced at RM1,899.
Commenting on this, vivo Malaysia chief executive officer Mike Xu said that the device was built to deliver professional-level photography along with reliability.
