MIRI: Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Senadin Service Centre Mobile Service 2U Team led by its chairman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, had a walkabout and meet-the-people session at a food court and business outlets in Desa Senadin area under its weekly ‘Mobile Service2U’ programme this morning.
Members of the team comprised councillors and youth and women leaders from SUPP Senadin, namely Cr Jeffery Phang, Cr Toh Kah Shiong and Cr Yap Siew Jin.
During the walkabout, Lee led the team to talk to the members of public at the coffee shop and the nearby commercial shops to obtain feedbacks on any issues affecting them.
There are also some members of the public who personally approached Lee and Phang to bring up issues that are affecting their residential areas.
Some approached Phang on Miri City Council (MCC)’s matters.
The SUPP Mobile Service 2U was first initiated back in 2017 and the main objective is to walk into the community to hear the voices of the people.
Some members of the community are not aware of the channels to air their feedback, and this is a good platform for such exchanges.
