KUCHING: Kuching City FC has strengthened its senior squad with the promotion of three standout players from its under-23 team – underscoring the club’s continued commitment to nurturing homegrown talent.
The club confirmed the promotions via its official Facebook page, describing the move as a fresh chapter for the trio as they take their first steps into professional top-tier football.
The players promoted to the senior team are Wesley Azcang Milkias from Long Semado, Lawas; Yohanis Daniel Kinda from Saratok; and Muhammad Syafie Mursalim from Kinabatangan, Sabah.

All three players impressed during their time with the Under-23 squad, earning praise for their consistent performances and readiness to step up to the next level.
Notably, Yohanis Daniel was part of Sarawak’s squad at the Malaysia Games (SUKMA) 2024, while Wesley Azcang captained the team during a key match against Perak in Mukah.
The club’s latest move reflects a clear developmental pathway from youth to senior football, reinforcing Kuching City FC’s role in building a sustainable and competitive local football ecosystem.
