BINTULU: A woman’s lifeless body was discovered on the ground outside a shopping mall here on Monday.
The discovery was confirmed by Bintulu Police chief Supt Nixon Joshua Ali on Tuesday.
The woman’s body was discovered by members of the public around 6:30 pm, who promptly alerted the authorities.
Initial investigations by the police have revealed no indications of criminal involvement in the case.
The deceased has been identified as a 45-year-old local woman, found lying face up after she had allegedly fallen from the fourth floor of the building.
Her body was transported to Bintulu Hospital for further examination.
Police have classified the case as sudden death.
