Firemen trying to extricate the injured woman from her car.

KUCHING: A woman sustained injuries to her legs after she lost control of the car she was driving and collided with another car before ramming a tree.

The woman and her fiancée were on their way to work when the accident happened at Jalan Bako at 8am yesterday.

The woman’s legs were stuck in the car’s footwell and firemen were called to the scene to extricate her. She was later taken to Sarawak General Hospital where she was warded.

Her fiancée however escaped with only minor injuries. The car was badly damaged.
