Woman found unconscious in Limbang home, rushed to hospital in early morning rescue

Rescuers from the Limbang Civil Defence Force carry the unconscious woman to safety after responding to an early morning distress call.

LIMBANG: A 62-year-old woman was rushed to hospital in the early hours today after she was found unconscious, foaming at the mouth, at Kampung Bunga Raya, Limbang.

According to the Limbang District Civil Defence Force (APM), the incident was reported at 2.53 am.

A four-member emergency response team, known as Skuad Charlie, was immediately dispatched from the District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) just five minutes later.

Led by Corporal (PA) Mohd Arif Midun, the team arrived at the scene within two minutes, where they discovered the victim, lying unconscious inside her home.

“Upon arrival, our team assessed the victim’s condition and found her unresponsive with foam around her mouth.

“Immediate medical assistance was provided before she was transported to Limbang Hospital for further treatment,” said Limbang District Civil Defence Officer Captain (PA) Bonnie Madisun.

The ambulance carrying the victim departed the scene at 3.08 am and arrived at the hospital five minutes later. The operation concluded at 3.24 am when the rescue team returned to their base.

At press time, the condition of the victim has not been disclosed.

The 62-year-old victim being transferred into an ambulance as APM personnel rush her to Limbang Hospital.
