SERIAN: A woman was injured after the motorcycle she was riding crashed into a five-foot-deep drain at Kampung Pasir, near Taman Pasir Serian.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a distress call at 11.48 pm today (Apr 1) and dispatched firefighters from the Serian fire station to the scene.
It is learnt that the victim crashed and fell into the drain, suffering a sprained ankle.
Paramedics at the scene provided immediate medical assistance before transporting her to Serian Hospital for further treatment.
After ensuring the area was safe for road users, Bomba personnel returned to the station at 12.05 pm.
