SELANGAU: A woman was killed after she was thrown out of her car and pinned beneath it in a crash along Jalan Sungai Kua here early today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the incident involved a silver Perodua Myvi in a “self-skid accident”.
“When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the victim trapped beneath the vehicle.
“She was pronounced dead at the scene by Health Ministry personnel,” a Bomba spokesperson said.
The woman suffered severe injuries, including a severed right leg.
Her identity has yet to be established.
Firefighters carried out a lifting operation to free the victim from beneath the vehicle.
The body was later handed over to the police for further action.
The operation was brought under control at 4.18am and ended at 4.20am.
