KUCHING: The Ministry of Works (KKR) hopes to continue strengthening efforts and enhancing coordination to ensure the smooth and timely implementation of infrastructure projects in Sarawak.
Head of State Tun Pehin Dr Wan Junaidi Bin Tuanku Jaafar said this is important to ensure the well-being of the people.
Wan Junaidi conveyed his message to the KKR delegation during a courtesy call on him and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi at the Astana Negeri Sarawak today.
Leading the delegation was Minister of Works Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi who was accompanied by several key officials, including the Ministry’s secretary-general Datuk Seri Azman Ibrahim, and deputy secretary-general (Management) Datuk Zainal Alhakab Seman.
Also in the delegation were Public Works director-general Datuk Wira Roslan Ismail, Malaysian Highway Authority director-general Datuk Sazali Harun, and Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) chief executive Zainora Zainal.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce KKR’s top leadership and discuss technical matters concerning infrastructure development in Sarawak.
