KUCHING: Kota Sentosa assemblyan Wilfred Yap contributed RM8,500 to Kota Sentosa Health Clinic through the Minor Rural Project (MRP) funds during the recent clinic advisory panel meeting.
The allocation included RM3,500 for an LED advertisement board to improve public information delivery and another RM5,000 for the purchase of dental equipment for the clinic.
According to the press statement, the contribution demonstrated his commitment to strengthening frontline healthcare facilities that directly improves community wellbeing.
The handover took place during the Health Clinic Advisory Panel Meeting of Kota Sentosa, attended by the clinic management and community representatives.
“Funds for the dental clinic will be used to procure essential items such as portable scaler unit, dental light cure and portable suction unit,” he said.
The MRP assistance reflects Yap’s continued emphasis on practical, people-oriented initiatives aimed at enhancing everyday services for residents in Kota Sentosa.
