KUCHING: The Rakan Muda Music Camp Concert @ Sarawak has the potential to become an international platform for young talents.

Deputy Director-General of the Rakan Muda Development Division, Syamsul Tahrin Mohd Tahir, said he had proposed bringing the concert to the international stage but that would require meticulous planning and training.

For now, the plan is to expand the music camp concert to other states next year.

Syamsul also encouraged youths to seize opportunities provided by the government.

“Whether in business, training, or skills development, grab these chances for holistic youth development,” he told reporters after officiating at the Rakan Muda Music Camp Concert @ Sarawak 2024 at the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) building yesterday.

Meanwhile, Deputy Permanent Secretary of MYSED, Dolhadi Mazuki, thanked everyone involved in the concert’s success and suggested using the future Performing Arts Centre in the Old DUN Building for a grand concert.

Also present were Sarawak Youth and Sports Department Director Lamat Nyalau.
