KUCHING: A total of 30 finalists of ‘Jejaka Idola Berkarisma (JIB) and Dewi Idola Berkarisma (DIB)’ will be vying in the final on this coming 14 May at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).
The 15 finalists of JIB and 15 of DIB were selected after undergoing the semifinal round with the other 32 contestants at Riverside Majestic Hotel, last Sunday.
During the semifinal, the contestants went through the introduction and catwalk session as well as the Question and Answer (Q&A) session.
Organised by Petra Enterprise, the pageant competition received an overwhelming response from the public with some of the contestants coming as far as Kedah and Pulau Pinang.
Utusan Sarawak daily is the official media for the event whereas the sponsors are CityOne Megamall, Lance Court Hotel, The Summer Shopping Mall, Star Printing, BCCK, My Paul Collection, Ibrahim Perfume, Nayel Enterprise, Damai Beach Resort and others.
The semifinal round was also enlivened with singing and dance performances by Petra Dancers.
Sometime in April, there will be a talent night held to search for the best talents.
