KUCHING: Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap has improved the Kota Sentosa Health Clinic with the completion of 51 additional car parks, funded by his 2023 Rural Transformation Programme (RTP).

In a statement, Yap said that the RM250,000 project, carried out by Syarikat Adeeb Nazran, aimed to address parking challenges for the public seeking medical services.

The upgraded facilities were officially handed over during a ceremony, where Yap also donated 30 chairs for waiting patients.

The additional parking spaces and chairs are expected to enhance convenience for residents in the area.

Yap thanked the Padawan Municipal Council (PMC) for monitoring the project and ensuring its timely completion.

In his ongoing efforts to improve healthcare, he also announced plans to allocate RM500,000 from his 2025 RTP for a new medical laboratory at the clinic.
