SRI AMAN: Six hundred senior citizens today (June 26) received their second Covid-19 vaccine dose at the Dewan Suarah Sri Aman vaccination centre (PPV).

PPV coordinator Dr Janariah Jangani told the Information Department (JaPen) here that the vaccine recipients comprised the high-risk groups including chronic patients and individuals with comorbidities.

Riji Igang and his wife Lamah Ungkah from Nyelam Sri Aman were glad to have completed their vaccine doses.

Jamiah Taha from Kampung Hulu was very happy to receive her jab  and recommended that all Sri Aman residents get their vaccination as well.

The National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) will achieve its goal of achieving 80 percent herd immunity in the country if all eligible people are vaccinated.
