Sagah hands over RM80,000 funds

KUCHING: Assistant Minister of Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn yesterday handed over Minor Rural Project (MRP) worth RM80,000 to three organisations in his constituency.

Sagah, who is Tarat assemblyman, handed a cheque for RM30,000 to  Kelab Ketua Masyarakat dan Ketua Kaum DUN Tarat.

The cheque was received by Silbey Nobek, the treasurer of the club.

Roland also handed another cheque worth RM40,000 for education incentive to N20 Tarat Education Committee and another RM10,000 to SMK Tarat Parent and Teachers’ Association for their student excellence programme.

Representatives of all the three organisations thanked Sagah and the state government for the allocations, while Sagah had advised the three organisations to spend the money wisely.
